Admissions Process

Step 1 - Tour: Schedule a tour with Lux here

Step 2 - Application: Once you have completed a tour, you will be added to our eligible list for submitting an application for Lux. You will be notified when applications open for the subsequent academic year. A $75 application fee is due at the time of submission for the application to be complete. The application fee is non-refundable. (interview will not be scheduled until all application materials are submitted)

Step 3 - Placement Testing: Prospective students will complete a grade-level placement test. Someone from the Lux team will follow up with you to schedule the placement testing date. This is an important step to ensure all students are set up for success with a unique learning plan to meet them wherever they are.

Step 4 - Family Interview: For new families, a team member at Lux will contact you to set up an appointment. Our family interviews review placement testing findings for students, and further discuss the details of parental partnership and next steps. Families will be interviewed regarding their eligibility for enrollment as well as their understanding of the mission and vision of Lux.

Step 5 - Acceptance: If accepted, parents will receive an email notification that includes instructions on completing the enrollment process.Families will be interviewed regarding their eligibility for enrollment as well as their understanding of the mission and vision of Lux.

Step 6 - Non-refundable Registration Fee: Once accepted, families will submit the $250 non-refundable registration fee per student in order to secure your spot for the subsequent academic year. This deposit is non-refundable.
